Events for 2010 include a Beach Fly at Buccaneer Cove, an Indoor Fly at the Multi Purpose Cultural Centre, a fun fly competition at the Freeman's Village where local kite builders compete for prizes and bragging rights. The last event is at Devil's Bridge where giant kites will be flown. The last day climate is with a sunset snorkel cruise.

Antigua Classic Regatta is a world recognized event that gathers sailors and lovers of Classic Sailing Yacht.  The event begun back in the 60’s when captains and crews challenged each other to a race down to Guadalupe and back to celebrate the end of the charter season.  Antigua Classic Regatta is a show of classic boats that begins with a concourse of elegance, an occasion for owners and crew to show their yachts, with prizes to the best maintained. The following days of racing from and back to Falmouth Harbour where you can see sailors from many points of the coast line.

The Antigua Sailing Week follows the Antigua Classic Regatta.  It is one of the top five regattas in the world and the biggest in the Caribbean.  It has evolved from a regatta for local yachtsmen to an international event.  t attracts yachts, participants and spectators from all over the world.  Besides the excitement of the races, every night there are parties with a lot of music and rum.
BACK II LIFE is a week-long music festival held in spectacular locations across Antigua and it brings together party people from around the world to dance to the sounds of legendary UK DJs: Jazzie B, Norman Jay, David Rodigan & Trevor Nelson. These DJs were the pioneers of the London soul, funk & reggae 'sound-system' era and are still a major influence on the global club scene.
What started as a musical revolution in Antigua and Barbuda, and rivalled only to Jamaica’s Reggae Sun Splash, Sweet Cry Festival has brought to Antigua personalities from near and far who have thrilled the audiences. Between 1993 and 1997 these renowned artists treated their fans to unforgettable performances, such as The Wailers, Arrow, Bankie Banx, Third World, Beres Hammond and so many more. Sweet Cry 2010 will be staged at the spectacular Dow’s Hill festival venue over-looking the historic Nelson’s Dockyard and with a 360 degree panoramic view of some of Antigua’s most breathtaking sights. The re-location of the festival to English Harbour will not only bring much needed high quality entertainment to the festivities of the area, but also will make it more convenient for the visitors.
Carnival in Barbuda, Caribana, is a five day event including the Caribana queen show, calypso competition, Calypso Competition, Teen Splash Competition,Calypso Monarch Competition dancing in the streets and lots of action.
The Antigua and Barbuda Sports Fishing Association is a popular event attracting both regional and international participation. 2009 saw forty fishing boats from St. Martin, St. Barts, St. Thomas, Guadeloupe and Marinique. join their Antigua peers. Historic Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour provide a beautiful venue for receiving the boats back with their catch, and the crowd of a thousand of people waiting to see "the big one". The committee encourages boats to bring in only large fish, by penalizing any boats that bring in underweight fish. The fish stall then sells the fish fresh to the crowd.  Two laid-back days of eating, drinking and general good humour as locals and visitors mingle alongside the docks culminate in the awards ceremony on Sunday evening, where prizes are given to the boats with the biggest fish.

The Antigua and Barbuda International Music Festival “Romantic Rhythms” is a world-class music festival, first inaugurated in 2008 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, the new cricket ground built for the Cricket World Cup in 2007.  For three nights the impressive stadium is magically transformed into a haven for love and romance. Past performers have included Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Heather Headley and Brian McKnight, as well as other local and regional acts. The festival embaces many genres of music including calypso, soca, smooth jazz, R&B, reggae and country.
The most thrilling festival is definitely the Antigua’s Carnival, born to celebrate the emancipation of slavery in 1834.  It is a two weeks event that starts in the last week of July and ends during the first week of August.  The festival features mass players in splendid costume parading the street of the capital and in the evening you can attend one of the many shows such as Carnival Queen Pageants, Talented Teen Pageants, Steel Pan Competition, Calypso Show and the most talked about, the Soca Calypso Competition.  The Caribbean Islands come together in Antigua for Carnival to participate in one grand show named Caribbean  Jaycees Queen Show, where young ladies put forth their best performance to become the Miss Jaycees Caribbean Queen.  The Lions Club also takes part in the Antigua Carnival, organising  live concerts in their Lions Den where people can dance all night long. The event climax with J’ouvert Morning on the Carnival Monday and a street parade in the afternoon.  On Carnival Tuesday the street comes to life again with a grand final parade and Carnival is officially closed with one final Last Lap.

The Mango & Pineapple Fest is entirely dedicated to the delicious mangoes.   Two events are held every year prior to the main festival. The first in the Mango Pineapple Workshop aimed at educating everybody on the many things that can be made from these fruits. The second is the Magic Mango & Pineapple Menu Competition where professional chefs and bartenders partake in challenging contests featuring unusual and innovative mango and pineapple receipies.
The DeJam Festival celebrate its 7th year in 2010, and it will be bigger than ever! The 14 nights of party events celebrate three generations of music and feature contributions from DJs around the world. Good music, themed parties and live acts are in the agenda.
The Annual Francis Nunes Jr. Fishing Tournament and Seafood Festival takes place at the beginning of October, and participants and the crowd enjoy a fast and furious day of fishing, and back on land fresh fish is sold.
The Ocean Breeze Music Festival & Conference is a two full days of music. Saturday November 13 at Ffreys Bay and Sunday November 14 at Fort James. Some of the brightest Caribbean artists from around the Caribbean will be taking to the stage.

The Antigua Literary International Festival is a celebration of the work of both local and international writers.  The 3 days event is hosted at the Jolly Harbour Beach Resort and includes seminars and discussions on a variety of topics, ceremonies, books readings on the beach, books sales and books signing. With the involvementof writers and publishers from the Caribbean, UK, USA and Canada, the festival is an occasion to exchange ideas.
