In Antigua there are 365 beautiful beaches, some of them reachable only with a four-wheel drive vehicle or by boat, but many more accessible and visible from the road. This way you will be able to change scenario every day of your vacation and be constantly stunned by the wonderful views the Island of Antigua has to offer you.
Offshore, coral reefs offer underwater forests of fish and other sea creatures for divers, while winds blow constantly off the east coast for the sailing lovers. The western bays provide year-around bathing in clear, calm waters.
JABBERWOCK BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the north-east side of the island, it is the beach for the lovers of kite-surfing and windsurfing. Beginners may approach these activities with the help of professional trainers, who also rent all the equipment directly on the beach.
This Caribbean beach is usually windy and the water is quite rough.
The beach does not offer any bars and restaurants, but it is located near to The Tides Restaurant and Cecilia's Cafe.
RUNAWAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the northwest coast of Antigua, it is a seemingly endless white sand beach. The beach is very nice for a walk and relaxing under the warm of the Caribbean sun. It has a beach bar that serve drinks.

Hermitage bay is located between St. John’s and Jolly Harbour, at the end of Jennings village. To reach the beach you will have to drive through a natural path way, so a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended. The beach is very calm and secluded. Hermitage Hotel is on this beach.
This beach is often crowded because it is located inside a residential, commercial and harbour complex. This beach offers lots of amenities such as a restaurant / bar, local vendors and a water sport centre. The beach is ideal for walking as it is very long.
After passing Jolly Harbour is Valley Church Beach, with crystal clear water and white sand, is a tranquil spot to relax under the warm Caribbean sun. On the beach you will find the Nest Beach Bar.

CRAB HILL (TURNER'S BEACH) - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
CARLISLE BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the south coast of Antigua this beach is located in the village of Old Road, with clear waters that make it excellent for snorkelling where you can find a wide variety of tropical marine life. Bring your mask and fins! The Carlisle Bay Hotel with its fine restaurants are located on this beach.
PIGEON BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the south coast, the most accessible of the two beaches in the English Harbour area, it has a restaurant and bar. A lot of the young people working on sail boats go to this beach during high season, due to its proximity to Falmouth and English Harbour.
On the beach there are nice wooden beach umbrellas with sitting space.
FREEMAN’S BAY (GALLEON BEACH) - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
An amazing calm beach located at Freeman's Bay in English Harbour on the south coast of Antigua in the heart of the National Park. It is a good spot to snorkelling since there is a reef of 75ft. A short hike to the left of the bay will take you to the Pillars of Hercules, a natural geological rock formations carved by wind, rain and the sea. Unfortunately they can only really be appreciated when viewed from the sea. On the beach there is a characteristic restaurant that serves delicious meals.
HALF MOON BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the east coast, it takes its name from its shape. It is very popular especially on weekends. It has rough waters in the middle, and calm waters on both sides, making it the perfect beach for both the surf lovers and families. There is a local restaurant and bar, which offers local dishes and hamburgers. On the left hand side, after a brief walk on the rocks, you will reach another beautiful beach that is often deserted.
DEVIL'S BRIDGE BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
Next to the Devil's Bridge, you can leave your car on the gravel road and take a hidden unmarked path descending on the left side to reach this beautiful Antiguan bay surrounded by two pleasant hills.
LONG BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the east coast, it is a calm bay protected by reefs, making excellent for swimming and snorkelling.
It is a very popular beach since it has hotels, restaurants and bars. La Tartaruga Restaurant offers fresh fish and lobster daily. It is possible to rent beach chairs and jet skis, or to practice a variety of water sports and buy your souvenirs at the many vendors on the beach. It is also called Pineapple Beach and it is only a few minutes away from Devil's Bridge.
