In Antigua there are 365 beautiful beaches, some of them reachable only with a four-wheel drive vehicle or by boat, but many more accessible and visible from the road. This way you will be able to change scenario every day of your vacation and be constantly stunned by the wonderful views the Island of Antigua has to offer you.
Offshore, coral reefs offer underwater forests of fish and other sea creatures for divers, while winds blow constantly off the east coast for the sailing lovers. The western bays provide year-around bathing in clear, calm waters.

JABBERWOCK BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the north-east side of the island, it is the beach for the lovers of kite-surfing and windsurfing. Beginners may approach these activities with the help of professional trainers, who also rent all the equipment directly on the beach.
This Caribbean beach is usually windy and the water is quite rough.
The beach does not offer any bars and restaurants, but it is located near to The Tides Restaurant and Cecilia's Cafe.
DICKENSON BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the northwest coast, at few kilometers from the Capital of St. John's, it is the most famous and busy beach of the island of Antigua because it has hotels, restaurants and bars that serve lunch and dinner all day long, and play music.
You can also practice water sports, rent jet ski, rent lounge chairs and beach umbrella.
RUNAWAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the northwest coast of Antigua, it is a seemingly endless white sand beach. The beach is very nice for a walk and relaxing under the warm of the Caribbean sun. It has a beach bar that serve drinks.
FORT JAMES BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the northwest coast, it is the nearest beach to the city of St. John's.
Named after the old military Fort which still sits above the bay displaying a well kept cannon still in place.
Today there is also a restaurant inside the fort where you may allow yourself to be taken back to the Antiguan History time. Here they serve dishes of the local cuisine, in particular a delicious lobster and conch soup at reasonable prices.
DEEP BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
The beach you will see from our luxury villas in Galley Bay Heights, this is one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches of Antigua. You can reach the beach swimming from the private beach of the complex of Galley Bay Heights, walking on the rocks or by few minute by car.
GALLEY BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the west coast, it is reached by passing through the characteristic Five Islands Village, it is just at few minute walk from the villas in Galley Bay Heights.Considered one of the most tranquil beaches in Antigua where the use of motorized boat and jet ski is not allowed.
The Galley Bay resort is situated on this beach and its beach restaurant is open to the public.
HAWKSBILL BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the west coast, it is located a few minutes by car away from the beach og Galley Bay. The beach is amazing, not very long with palm trees to ensure shade. It is made up by a series of four tranquil small beaches and the third is the only nude beach on the island of Antigua. Here it is located the Hawksbill Hotel.
HERMITAGE BAY - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
Hermitage bay is located between St. John’s and Jolly Harbour, at the end of Jennings village. To reach the beach you will have to drive through a natural path way, so a 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended. The beach is very calm and secluded. Hermitage Hotel is on this beach.
JOLLY HARBOUR BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
This beach is often crowded because it is located inside a residential, commercial and harbour complex. This beach offers lots of amenities such as a restaurant / bar, local vendors and a water sport centre. The beach is ideal for walking as it is very long.

VALLEY CHURCH BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
After passing Jolly Harbour is Valley Church Beach, with crystal clear water and white sand, is a tranquil spot to relax under the warm Caribbean sun. On the beach you will find the Nest Beach Bar.

FRYES BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the southwest coast, about 20 minutes drive far from the capital of St. John's, even though it cannot be seen from the main road, it is one of the most beautiful beaches of Antigua. There is a local restaurant and bar called Dennis Restaurant and close by is Sheer Rocks a delicious new restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Catamarans and private yachts often stop here during their tours.
DARKWOOD BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the southwest coast, the next beach after Fryes Bay, it is very popular and has a local restaurant and bar which serve local dishes and sandwiches.
It is favoured by many local people who enjoy picnics on the beachside.
On the southwest coast, it is a long beach and has a beautiful view of the island of Montserrat, famous for its volcano Soufriere still active. There are three nice restaurants and bars on the beach: Gisbon restaurant, OJ’s Restaurant and Turner’s Restaurant. They also provide beach umbrellas and beach chairs.
CARLISLE BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the south coast of Antigua this beach is located in the village of Old Road, with clear waters that make it excellent for snorkelling where you can find a wide variety of tropical marine life. Bring your mask and fins! The Carlisle Bay Hotel with its fine restaurants are located on this beach.
RENDEVOUZ BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the south coast, one of the most unspoiled beaches, it is reached by walking thru a path from the rain forest (40 minutes walk), by boat or a 4x4 vehicle from Spring Hill Riding Club at English Harbour.
Since it is very difficult to reach it is often isolated and it has no bars and restaurants. For this reason, preserve its natural splendor and it is an usually stop of yacht tour.
PIGEON BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
On the south coast, the most accessible of the two beaches in the English Harbour area, it has a restaurant and bar. A lot of the young people working on sail boats go to this beach during high season, due to its proximity to Falmouth and English Harbour.
On the beach there are nice wooden beach umbrellas with sitting space.
FREEMAN’S BAY (GALLEON BEACH) - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
An amazing calm beach located at Freeman's Bay in English Harbour on the south coast of Antigua in the heart of the National Park. It is a good spot to snorkelling since there is a reef of 75ft. A short hike to the left of the bay will take you to the Pillars of Hercules, a natural geological rock formations carved by wind, rain and the sea. Unfortunately they can only really be appreciated when viewed from the sea. On the beach there is a characteristic restaurant that serves delicious meals.
HALF MOON BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the east coast, it takes its name from its shape. It is very popular especially on weekends. It has rough waters in the middle, and calm waters on both sides, making it the perfect beach for both the surf lovers and families. There is a local restaurant and bar, which offers local dishes and hamburgers. On the left hand side, after a brief walk on the rocks, you will reach another beautiful beach that is often deserted.
DEVIL'S BRIDGE BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEAN
Next to the Devil's Bridge, you can leave your car on the gravel road and take a hidden unmarked path descending on the left side to reach this beautiful Antiguan bay surrounded by two pleasant hills.
LONG BAY BEACH - ANTIGUA - CARIBBEANOn the east coast, it is a calm bay protected by reefs, making excellent for swimming and snorkelling.
It is a very popular beach since it has hotels, restaurants and bars. La Tartaruga Restaurant offers fresh fish and lobster daily. It is possible to rent beach chairs and jet skis, or to practice a variety of water sports and buy your souvenirs at the many vendors on the beach. It is also called Pineapple Beach and it is only a few minutes away from Devil's Bridge.
